1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to WeMile.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WeMile mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Eaglet Pip LLC ("WeMile," "we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Description of Service

WeMile is a technology platform designed to help families, schools, coworkers, and communities discover, coordinate, and manage carpools.

WeMile provides features such as:

  • Carpool group creation

  • Carpool member invitations

  • Private messaging

  • School verification codes

  • Automatic trip tracking

  • Participation metrics

  • Carpool reminders

  • Arrival and departure notifications

  • Community engagement features

WeMile does not provide transportation services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a WeMile account.

By using WeMile, you represent that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into these Terms.

  • Information you provide is accurate.

  • You are responsible for any children participating in carpool arrangements associated with your account.

4. No Transportation Services

WeMile is a technology platform that helps users discover, coordinate, and manage carpools.

WeMile is not:

  • A transportation provider

  • A ride-sharing company

  • A taxi service

  • A school transportation provider

  • A common carrier

WeMile does not:

  • Employ drivers

  • Own or operate vehicles

  • Arrange transportation

  • Supervise transportation activities

  • Monitor transportation activities in real time

All transportation arrangements occur directly between participating users.

5. Parent Responsibility and Independent Decision-Making

Participation in any carpool is entirely voluntary.

Parents and guardians are solely responsible for:

  • Selecting carpool partners

  • Evaluating trustworthiness

  • Verifying identities

  • Determining suitability of participants

  • Supervising children

  • Establishing transportation arrangements

WeMile provides tools for communication and coordination but does not determine who should participate in a carpool.

6. School Verification Codes

Participating schools may choose to distribute a school verification code to help limit access to their school community.

School verification codes are intended to improve participation within a school community but do not guarantee:

  • Identity

  • Parent status

  • School affiliation

  • Trustworthiness

  • Safety

  • Suitability

Parents remain responsible for conducting their own vetting process before participating in any carpool.

7. No Background Checks

WeMile does not conduct:

  • Criminal background checks

  • Driving record reviews

  • Identity verification

  • Employment verification

  • Character assessments

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, users are responsible for performing any verification they deem necessary.

8. Privacy and Information Sharing

WeMile is designed to help users connect while protecting privacy.

WeMile does not automatically share users' phone numbers, home addresses, or other private information with other members.

Users control what information they choose to share with others.

Users should exercise caution and good judgment when sharing personal information.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and delete information such as account details, location and motion data, trip records, and communications.

9. Trip Tracking and Notifications

WeMile may use device location, motion, activity, and related permissions to support carpool tracking and notifications.

WeMile does not record or track users' personal trips throughout the day.

Trip processing is intended to support configured carpool activities.

Trip tracking, reminders, arrival notifications, departure notifications, and related features are provided as convenience tools only and may occasionally be delayed, inaccurate, interrupted, or unavailable.

Users should not rely on WeMile notifications for safety-critical decisions.

10. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Misrepresent their identity

  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate others

  • Share unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content

  • Use WeMile for illegal purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services

  • Interfere with the operation of the Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. School, Employer, and Organization Participation

Schools, PTAs, PTOs, employers, commute coordinators, and other organizations may choose to promote or distribute information about WeMile.

Such participation does not create any partnership, agency relationship, transportation responsibility, supervision obligation, or endorsement of any specific user or carpool arrangement.

Schools, employers, and organizations do not organize, supervise, monitor, or guarantee carpool activities unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

Users acknowledge that all carpool arrangements are voluntary agreements between participating individuals and families.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, schools, employers, PTAs, PTOs, commute coordinators, and other participating organizations shall not be liable for claims, injuries, damages, losses, disputes, or incidents arising from carpool activities facilitated through or coordinated using WeMile.

12. User Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit through WeMile, including messages, schedules, profile information, and other content.

By submitting content, users grant WeMile a non-exclusive license to use, store, display, and process such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

WeMile makes no warranties regarding:

  • User identities

  • User conduct

  • Carpool availability

  • Service availability

  • Trip tracking accuracy

  • Notification delivery

  • Data accuracy

We do not guarantee that any carpool arrangement will be safe, successful, suitable, or available.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eaglet Pip LLC, WeMile, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from:

  • Participation in a carpool

  • Transportation activities

  • User interactions

  • User-generated content

  • Reliance on notifications or tracking information

  • Use or inability to use the Services

Users participate in carpool activities at their own risk.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eaglet Pip LLC, WeMile, and their affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services

  • Your participation in carpools

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your interactions with other users

16. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms or conduct that may harm users, schools, organizations, or the Services.

17. Changes to the Services

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any portion of the Services at any time without prior notice.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles.

20. Accessibility

We are committed to making the WeMile mobile application and the wemile.app website accessible to people with disabilities, including users of assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practicable. Accessibility is an ongoing effort; some content or third-party features may not yet fully meet these standards.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier in the WeMile app or on our website, contact us at support@wemile.app. Please include the page or screen you were using and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within five business days.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable accessibility or anti-discrimination laws.
